Countless times, people carelessly say, "OMG!" (Oh my G-D!"). Many people do not know that that is blasphemy. Saying, "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Jesus Mary and Joseph", Holy ____, "God ____!" these are ways us using God's Holy Name as a curse word. People say, "Oh my G_d" as a form of SHOCK, Surprise or anger. Would you ever use your mother's name as a curse word? Of course not! Because we love our mother, who gave birth to us and brought us up, took care of us when we're ill. Yet, (you) use "Oh my G_D!" the God who gave you life, and you use His Name as a curse word to show shock, surprise or anger. God's Name is HOLY and should NEVER be used lightly in our thoughts and speech. In the Old Testament, if you were to even say, "Oh my G_D!" outlaid, the Name whom the jews loved and worshipped, they would stone one to death for uttering such a phrase. There are other words like that - words we use to cover up "Christ", "God" "Jesus" as curse words. They're known as MINCED OATHES.
